This week marks a fresh start as we bring our Sneak Peak newsletter to a new home. For those new to the concept, each Friday I share several things that have inspired, challenged, or moved me throughout the week. From quotes to music, creators to fan features, it’s my way of giving you a peek into the things that keep my creativity alive. I hope these sparks of inspiration bring something meaningful to your own journey. Here’s what I’m loving this week:
Quote of the Week:
“In good writing, words become one with things.” — Ralph Waldo Emerson.
There’s something magical when words stop being just letters on a page and become part of the world you’re building. This week, let your writing transcend the paper, becoming as real as the breath you take.
Currently Listening:
“Computerized Emotion” by Yeek
This track has been on repeat. There’s a raw vulnerability in it that speaks to those moments when you're alone with your thoughts, and emotions take over. Perfect for an evening write or quiet reflection.
Don't forget to follow the Atticus Official Playlist on Spotify if you want to listen to my favorites along with me each week.

Whitney Hanson Poetry
Whitney’s poetry has been a big source of inspiration for me lately. Her ability to capture deep emotions with simplicity is powerful. If you haven’t checked out her work, now’s the time. Check her out on Instagram.
Writing Tips:
I get asked a lot about the writing process and how to publish a book, so I wanted to share some insights that have helped me over the years. These are some tips I’ve leaned on to write three New York Times bestsellers — hope they help guide you on your own journey too.
Manuscript Quality: Before anything else, make sure your manuscript is tight—well-written, edited, and proofread.
Book Cover Design: Invest in a cover that draws people in. It’s the first thing they’ll see, so make it reflect the soul of your book.
Title and Subtitle: Choose something that grabs attention but also represents the heart of your work.
Formatting: Make sure it’s set up beautifully for both print and digital. A book’s presentation matters more than we sometimes realize.
Fan Feature:
Every week, I showcase incredible works submitted by you, the readers. Want your poetry featured next? Find me on Instagram and send over a few of your favorite pieces via DM—I can't wait to read what you've been creating! 🖤
