You wrote the words, you shaped the space— now let the world walk through the door.

Hopefully, you wrote for the love of writing—because the words wouldn’t leave you alone, because the story asked to be born. But if you’re like most of us, you also need to eat, to pay rent, to earn a little from the thing you love.

Once you’ve built your website and began shaping your corner of the internet, the next step is to consider turning your browsers into buyers because a beautiful website is like a bookstore with no front door. I’m not a tech genius but I knew I wanted my readers to be able to buy my book directly from me, not just from some massive retailers. I wanted to keep it personal so I had to make my site shoppable.
